The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has granted registration to Swiss company Andermatt BioControl’s (Grossdietwil) microbial active ingredient, Plutella xylostella granulovirus (PlxyGV) isolate GV-0020, along with an end-use bioinsecticide, Plutex. The ai is intended for the control of diamondback moth (P xylostella) larvae affecting canola, as well as field grown brassica head and stem vegetables.
