With the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 set to expire at the end of September 2023, the House Aviation Subcommittee held a hearing on March 17 to begin preparing to write the next reauthorization bill. Subcommittee Chairman Rick Larsen (D-WA) called the 2018 reauthorization law “a victory for community advocates and other key stakeholders working to reduce the adverse impacts of airport and aircraft noise.”
