The correlation between data related to relaxation shrinkage, finishing shrinkage and domestic laundering shrinkage allows the designing of jersey knitted fabrics with very high dimensional stability. The same shrinkage could be obtained at high values of density with low values of needle bed turns, and the reverse is valid.
