ABSTRACTA 27‐year‐old myopic female presented with a recurrence of constant horizontal diplopia secondary to a decompensated microtropia. Following prism adaptation the patient underwent strabismus surgery for the prism adapted angle. A successful outcome ensued; the patient's alignment remains stable and she continues to be symptom free 12 months postoperativ
