摘要

AS THE COVID-19 pandemic rips through the aviation industry like a hurricane with unimaginable force, airports are at the center of the storm. With the reduction in passengers, comes a drop in revenues that, in ordinary times, are typically supported by airline and tenant fees. Some airports have been able to seek relief through government programs. This gives them the cash they need to operate, but does not bring back the airline passengers who shop and dine at the terminal. Surmounting that challenge will depend upon global economies and traveler sentiment as to how the public is managing the risk of contagion.
