In the first half of 2005, the EU Commission reports, China increased its textile exports to the EU by 45% in value and by 40% in volume. Products liberalised in 2005 saw an increase in China's market share by 145% in volume and 95% in value. This suggests significant fall in unit prices. In these products China, the US and India are the only significant suppliers to have increased their exports in 2005. India's increase in exports by, value is 15%; that of the US is 10%.
