The UV radiation obtained from the sun light induces systemic change, increasing circulating vitamin D concentration and impairing blood immunological function. When fall on the textile fabrics cause fading of dyes, weakening of fibres and fabrics and leads to photodegradation of various substrates, but only at the exposure of higher amount of radiation. Sun light is neccessary for human being, to provide warmth and illumination and indirectly for the provision of nourishment through plant photosynthesis. So UV radiation are necessary for the human being but in small amount. Wherever necessary we should go for UV absorbers for protection of skin as well as clothings.
