Two patented inventions of the Institute of Textiles & Clothing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University were internationally recognised recently in the 32nd International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques & Products at Geneva. Walter - said to be the world's first "sweating" manikin -won a gold medal, and Cubicam - a low-cost, compact 3-D body scanner - took a silver medal.
