Question 1: Across the commercial sector, everyone is talking about the recovery of the aviation industry to pre-COVID levels and the importance MROs will (and are) playing in this; what's your view? This is an exciting time to be in aerospace. With the global population returning to air travel and the demand for additional flights increasing, we can help get more airborne aircraft. New aircraft cannot fill this demand due to supply chain issues and the ongoing aftermath of COVID-19, so ageing aircraft continue operating at high utilisation. AMETEK MRO's repair facilities provide our customers with the support to keep their aircraft in service. Parts can be repaired and overhauled and back on the aircraft within days. Our MRO facilities can also help to alleviate some of the supply chain challenges the industry is facing by extending the life of existing parts through certified repairs.
