Italian products are synonymous with the good life, and the Colours of Life were in evidence at a recent Italian Festival featuring fine cuisine, exquisite fashion goods and a host of cultural feasts for the eyes. Among the fashion events was an exhibition staged at the IFC Mall in Central, Hong Kong, displaying photos and garments from Fifty Years of Italian Fashion, and including designers and brands such as Valentino, Brioni, Dolce & Gabana, Etro, Fendi and Trussardi. Shoppers and those on site specifically for the shows could browse display boards featuring famous gowns (worn by equally famous celebrities), and some of the more splendid models were shown on static mannequins at centre stage.
