AbstractPlatinum electrode modified with polyaniline by electropolymerization exhibits amperometric sensitivity to nonprotonated ammonia in aqueous solutions in the anodic range of potentials. Sensitivity of response depends mostly on the kind of doping anions used and the polarization potential applied during measurements. This detection can be utilized for design of amperometric biosensors for urea.
