Indian crop protection and fertilizer company Coromandel International (Secunderabad) has acquired an around 33% additional stake in Chennai, Tamil Nadu-based drone business Dhaksha Unmanned Systems for INR 2,040 million ($24.8 million at the current rate). The acquisition was made through Coromandel Technology, which was incorporated in January as the former’s drone subsidiary. The development makes Coromandel, which already held a nearly 17% stake in Dhaksha, the entity’s largest shareholder.
