The other day I was talking to a student pilot whose dad spent big bucks helping her learn to fly. She soloed, flew a few cross-country trips, and progressed right up to the point where she was ready for her private certificate (Private Pilot's License) check-ride. Then she quit. I wondered why, but her response was partly 'I don't know' and partly 'I plan to finish'.
