Vaginal tubal ligation at the time of vacuum curettage for therapeutic abortion was performed upon 124 patients. Technical difficulty, morbidity, blood loss and operative time were within acceptable limits. It is urged that the operation be offered to those patients who are undergoing abortion and who desire sterilization.
