Juliet Kennedy has more than three decades of air traffic control experience, having joined NATS, the UK's leading provider of ATC services, a quarter of a century ago, by which stage she had proved her mettle in the RAF and at London's Stansted and Gatwick airports. Q What are your expectations about traffic levels over the summer and the rest of 2022?With levels currently around 75% of pre-pandemic, we expect these to continue to rise as we head towards the summer months. We're following industry forecasts, speaking to our airline customers and generating our own modelling to have the best picture. The demand over the Easter period shows us that people are keen to get back to travelling and this year's summer holidays will be important to them. With traffic higher than we've seen since before the pandemic, we are focusing on maintaining our service levels throughout this critical recovery period and being prepared, as far as we possibly can, to respond to variations in traffic and swings in axis demands as countries continue to navigate their COVID-19 response.
