AbstractAn instrument for measuring the vapour pressures of pesticides has been constructed using a suitably adapted gas chromatographic oven. Using this apparatus and a method involving gas saturation, followed by chromatographic analysis of the trapped pesticide vapour, the vapour pressures of a number of pesticides and non‐pesticides have been determined. It has been demonstrated that this procedure gives repeatable and accurate values by statistical comparison of the results obtained with data abstracted from the literatur
