Oman's OQ will inaugurate a third crude oil processing facility at the Bisat oil oeld on Thursday, paving the way for production capacity to increase by around 5,000 b/d to 60,000 b/d, according to the sultanate's ofocial news agency. Located in Block 60, the Bisat oeld was discovered in December 2017 and production started in 2019 at 5,000 b/d. It now has 165 production wells and three oil processing plants.
