The crop protection division of Indian company Hikal registered a 5.8% rise in sales to INR 1,630 million ($19.8 million at the average rate for the period) for its first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2023. Consolidated sales, including those of its pharmaceutical division, expanded around 2% to INR 3,880 million ($47.2 million). The share of crop protection in the company’s quarterly revenues improved to 42% (40.6% in last year’s corresponding quarter).
