摘要

The influences of TiO{sub}2 contents on the structural, optical, mechanical, and moisture resistantproperties of CaF{sub}2-TiO{sub}2 composite films prepared by reactive ion-assisted codepositionare systematically investigated. The CaF{sub}2 films deposited at an ambient substrate temperatureare found to have superior optical, mechanical, and moisture resistant properties with the addition of10 at. % TiQ2. The structure of this film changes from polycrystalline CaF{sub}2 to a mixed phase ofamorphous TiO{sub}2 and polycrystalline CaF{sub}2. The hardness of composite films containing45 at. % TiO{sub}2 is even higher than that of pure TiO{sub}2 and glass, which is attributed to theisolation of the crystalline CaF{sub}2 grains by the interconnection of the amorphous TiO{sub}2dispersoids.
