Borouge has granted a 1.3 billion EPC contract to Linde Engineering to build an ethylene cracker with a capacity of 1.5 million tonnes per annum,to be located at its existing petrochemical complex in Ruwais,Abu Dhabi.The award is the first step in the Borouge 2 expansion,which will triple production capacity when completed in 2Q 2010.
