In this paper we extend the casual Lyapunov synthesis method tothe domain of computing with words. This new approach is used todesign fuzzy controllers. Assuming minimal Knowledge about the plantto be controlled, the proposed method enables us to systematicallyderive the fuzzy rules that constitute the rule base of thecontroller. We demonstrate the approach by designing Madman-type andTakagi-Sugeno-Kang-type fuzzy controllers for two well-known plants.
