US supermajor Exxon Mobil and Indonesia's state-owned Pertamina have signed a joint study agreement to assess the potential for large-scale low-emission technologies,including carbon capture and storage(CCS)and hydrogen production.The agreement follows a memorandum of understanding signed by the companies last year,one of several such agreements Exxon has penned as it looks to build out a pipeline of prospective CCS projects.
