A total of 2372 gestational females were observed for right ovarian vein syndrome. Only one patient was found to have such pathologic association which subsequently necessitated operation. The so-called right ovarian vein syndrome is probably not as prevalent as earlier reports suggest. However, as in any obstructive uropathy, one must be guided by the usual persistence of obstruction, architectural deterioration of the renal collecting system, and infection resistance in making the decision regarding surgical treatment.
