Boston-based REGENT – the aerospace company behind the all-electric half-plane/half-boat Seaglider, which is designed to revolutionize regional transportation – plans to unveil a technology demonstrator vehicle in the second quarter of this year and to have its Seaglider enter commercial service in 2025. The company says its new vehicle will provide harbor-toharbor transportation at a fraction of the cost, noise, and emissions of existing regional transportation.
