The Fishburn Historic Aviation Centre in County Durham recently put former Royal Navy Sea Vampire T22 XG743 on display alongside an ex-Swiss Air Force Venom FB54, J-1790. The Duxford Aviation Society Hawker Siddeley Trident 2E, G-AVFB, emerged from the IWM's AirSpace building on 23 February following a repaint of its British European Airways scheme. An airworthy Fokker D.XXI reproduction project is due to be unveiled at the ATN Aircraft Division works at Hoogeveen in the north-east of the Netherlands during the airfield's Wings and Wheels Fly-in on 30 May. Original drawings are being used to build what will become the only airworthy representation of this mid-1930s, fixed-undercarriage, monoplane design. Mike Luther, the Yankee Air Museum'sThunderover Michigan show director has booked a grand total of 10 Vought/Goodyear Corsairs for this year's event, to be held at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, Michigan, on 3-4 August.
