Natural dye extracted from Tulsi leaves has been used as eco-Friendly dye to various textiles, viz., wool, nylon and polyester. The dye is applied on these textiles with and without using metallic salts. A variety of shades are obtained i,e, pale to dark green and cream to brown on various textiles with adequate fastness properties.
