Numerous new products and innovations were demonstrated in Techtextile Fair held in Frankfurt last year where emerging trends in different areas of technical textiles were reflected. In the area of protective clothing these concern particularly additional functions such as increased comfort, ease of processing as well as a great multiplicity of different possible applications. Of course, within the "common" aim of offering more additional functions, each manufacturer has its own focus. The following trends were observed in protective clothings.
