Four new appointments have been made at Macwhyte Company, the USA-based manufacturer of wire rope and speciality cable and assemblies which is a division of Amsted Industries. The people involved are Richard Connor, Matthew DuJardin, Robert Hoganson and David Klees. Richard Connor has been promoted to vice president of sales and distribution from vice president of marketing. He originally joined Amsted Industries in, 1967 as a market analyst, moving to Macwhyte as manager of marketing in 1985. Heading up market development is new manager Matthew DuJardin. Previously, he was manager of mining markets for the company, which he joined in 1989 as an engineering student.
