The Infrastructure Investment and JobsAct of 2021 (IIJA) authorizes fundingof $$47.2 billion for resiliency and $21billion for remediation. Resilience and climate-related programs address flood mitigation,cyber, waste management, floodand wildfire mitigation, drought, andcoastal resiliency, ecosystem restoration,heat stress, and weatherization. Remediationfunds projects in brownfield and superfundsites, reclaim abandoned minelands, and plug orphan oil and gas wells.
