US agrochemical business PBI-Gordon (Shawnee, Kansas) has received US EPA approval for its liquid herbicide, Arkon (Kumiai Chemical’s pyrimisulfan). The approval is applicable for states barring California and Alaska. The company forged an exclusive partnership with Japanese firm Kumiai Chemical in 2017 to introduce pyrimisulfan into the US turf market under the Vexis brand.
