Air transport international (ATI), one of the constituents of the Air Transport Services Group, has added the Boeing 767-200SF (Special Freighter) to its operating certificate. The first aircraft is a former American Airlines 767-223ER (N316AA, now registered N761CX) that was converted to a freighter by Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), Tel Aviv. The EMBRAER 175 (ERJ 170-200 LR) is being introduced by SHUTTLE AMERICA, one of the operating entities of Republic Airways Holdings, on Delta Connection routes to supplement ERJ 170s. Seven aircraft, in a F12Y64 layout, are due by the end of the year, with another five by May 2009.
