Just days before Easter and all through the town the virus was coming, it's time to lock down.The kids were all sad as they looked at Grandaddyso we packed up the camper and shot through to NorthStraddie.Not that I take the virus lightly but if I ever needed an excuse to get away to my Shangrila this was it. I'm reluctant to push this too hard because I'm greedy and I want to keep my most secret sacred happy place all to myself, but if you've never beento North Stradbroke Island you don't know what you've missed, and if you can't afford the time or money to make the pilgrimage to far North Queensland, then just go toNorth Stradbroke Island. The drive across the island is exactly like the drive into Brampton Beach, without the cane fields and cassowaries.
