Syngenta has debuted its nematode diagnosis tool, Nema Digital, in Brazil. It is available for use on soybean crops applying the analysis of satellite photographs. The tool is part of Syngenta’s Cropwise digital agriculture platform. Nema Digital employs Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computational modelling to track, through a historical database of previous harvests, areas and times in which infestations are likely to occur. Based on this process, the genera of nematodes that are present and the best form of controls in the affected areas are identified.
