The Brazilian technical biosafety commission, the CTNBio, has recommended the approval for Corteva Agriscience’s genetically modified DP202216 corn (maize) for use in food and feed. The line is modified for enhanced yield potential and resistance to the herbicide, glufosinate-ammonium. The approval covers handling, processing, marketing, transportation, import, export and storage, consumption and disposal of products.
