A brief review of the literature on Morgagni's syndrome, or metabolic craniopathy, is given. Four patients with this syndrome, which includes obesity, hirsutism, and hyperostosis frontalis interna, are presented. Three of these women do, in fact, have Morgagni's syndrome; the other requires continued observation to prove the diagnosis. The signs, symptoms and pathogenesis of the disorder are discussed.
