In this paper we present a play-based methodology applied to CO_2 storage site screening in the UK North Sea. The study develops and refines existing CO_2 storage prospectivity evaluations as well as identifying new opportunites. The work demonstrates the value of incorporating seismic data and the role of seismic interpretation in geological storage assessments.
