Supporting the vertical flight technical workforce is a fundamental principle of the Vertical Flight Society. VFS predicts that the future vertical workforce will need an additional 1,000 engineers a year for the next decade - over and beyond the current talent pipeline - to meet the planned requirements for advanced rotorcraft and advanced air mobility (AAM) research and development.
