Secondary-treated, filtered, and chlorinated effluent(R-1quality)blended with potable water was used for turf grass irrigationat the Hawaii Kai Golf Course on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Blendingwas required because of the Salinity level in the R-1 effluent. Forcontrol, only potable water was used for Irrigation. Irrigationamounts varied with time based upon rainfall. Suction Lysimeters wereinstalled at 25-cm and 40-cm depths to collect soil-water samples. Inaddition, water samples from potable water and blended water storageImpoundments were collected for analysis.
