Harpullia arborea (Blanco) Radik. (Sapindaceae) is reported for the first time in the area of the flora of Nepal.A detailed description with notes on ecology, distribution and colour photograph are provided.The genus Harpullia Roxb. (Sapindaceae) comprises 26 species (Leenhouts and Vente 1982, Stevens 2001, Mabberley 2017), and belongs to the subfamily Dodonaeoideae. Most of the species are mainly distributed in the eastern part of the Malay Archipelago and the West Pacific with many endemic speciesin New Guinea (Buijsen et al.2003).
