Global Cement (GC): Please could you introduce Giatec? Andrew Fahim (AF): Giatec is a Canadian company based in Ottawa. It was founded in 2010 with the aim to revolutionise the global concrete sector. Our position is that you can't optimise what you don't measure. So to optimise concrete, Giatec has developed sensors to measure concrete temperature, humidity, compressive strength and other parameters. Typically, these are attached to the rebar before the concrete is poured.
