Austin- Chevron Phillips Chemical Co.announced it has completed the first commercial sales of its Marlex Anew circular polyethylene(PE)in the U.S.(PCN,20-27 Dec 2021,p 1).Marlex Anew PE is produced from pyrolysis oil,which is made by using an advanced recycling process that turns"difficult-to-recycle"waste plastics into the oil.The company aims to produce 1-billion lbs/yr of the circular PE by 2030.
