Ferrara— LyondellBasell has completed the purchase of Mepol Group, a manufacturer of recycled, high-performing technical polymer compounds located in Italy and Poland (PCN, 20 Mar 2023, p 4). Mepol SrI and its subsidiaries Polar SrI and Industrial Technology Investments Poland, will be subsidiaries in LyondellBasell's Advanced Polymer Solutions (APS) business unit. Value of the transaction was not disclosed.
