Electra Mining 2022 has pointed out that the February 2022 UFI Global Exhibition Barometer Report highlighted that the majority of respondents agree that virtual events will not be replacing physical events. Even though exhibitions are adopting more technology, the faceto- face, in-person event is still the order of the day. The industry has made it clear on a number of platforms in the past few months that it is ready to mingle again after being hemmed in by the pandemic for so long. Our MTE (Mining and Technical Exhibitions) partners have proved this with the first quarter being their busiest quarter in the past five years, including over border expos. Having just enjoyed the networking at the Investing in African Mining Indaba 2022 in Cape Town too in May, African Mining is excited about what the rest of the year has to offer with jam-packed events lined up to look forward to.
