The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) of the Republic of Uganda invites sealed bids by 12 January 2022 for the construction of the Namiganda multipurpose dam and development of the Igogero-Naigombwa irrigation scheme in Bugiri and Bugweri districts. The civil works contract is to be financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) within the framework of the Enhancing National Food Security through Increased Rice Production (ENRP) programme. The bid will be in accordance with the International Competitive Bidding, limited to IsDB Member Countries' bidding procedures as specified in the IsDB Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing, April 2019.
