摘要

The problem of routing in MANET has been well studied, and severalapproaches have been identified to support secure routing in MANET.However, they suffer to achieve higher performance in such a way to improvethe quality of service (QoS) performance of MANET. To overcome thisdeficiency, a novel real time regional ME (mobility energy) approximationbasedsecure routing algorithm is presented in this paper. The RRME(real-time regional mobility energy) approximation routing method splits theentire network into a number of regions where each node performsapproximation according to different features like mobility and energy in theselection of neighbors. It has been performed at the route discovery phase, andaccording to the approximation, the malicious nodes are identified andeliminated. Further, the method computes the trusted forwarding factor (TFF)for different nodes according to their previous history and other features.Similarly, for any route, the method computes the data forwarding support(DFS) and throughput support (TS) and lifetime maximization support (LMS)to compute the QoS support factor (QoSSF). Based on the value of QoSSF, asingle route has been selected to perform routing which maximizes the QoS inMANET.
