Chicago- Univar Solutions and funds managed by affiliates of Apollo (Apollo Funds) have entered into a definitive merger agreement, in which Apollo Funds will purchase Univar at an enterprise value of approximately $8.1-billion. The merger agreement provides that Univar shareholders will receive $36.15 in cash for each share of common stock they own. The agreement has been unanimously approved by the Univar Board of Directors.
