Crude oil futures contracts traded sideways on Wednesday, with analysts saying that prices are in a holding pattern as various supply and demand forces are assessed. On ICE Future, Brent for March delivery lost 1￠ to close at $86.12 per barrel, while March West Texas Intermediate (WTI) on the Nymex gained 2￠ to settle at $80.15/bbl.
