摘要

Abstract The evolution of the “special relationship” between the United States and Britain and their current state are considered. The factor of personal relations between leaders of the two countries and the role and importance of the value system are analyzed, as well as the formation of a new architecture of Euro−Atlantic and Indo−Pacific security for the bilateral partnership. It is noted that, after having left the EU, London has considered the connection with Washington as a system-forming element of its foreign policy. Britain’s main dilemma is how to maintain an independent foreign policy in the face of the increased importance of its relations with the United States.
