Scotgold Resources has raised ?3m by way of a share placing as it looks to double production at its Cononish gold and silver mine project. The company plans to use the net proceeds of the placing to accelerate the second phase of the site's development, which will involve a 100% increase in annual production to 72,000 tonnes of ore.
