Successfully rallied Connecticut AOPA members to oppose legislation intended to repurpose Hartford Brainard Airport for nonaeronautical uses. The state Department of Economic and Community Development will conduct a study by October 15,2023, to assess the current environmental and economic potential of the airport property. The Oklahoma state legislature passed a bill to remove the cap on excise taxes directed into Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission Revolving Fund, which will provide an additional $1 million annually for airport improvement grants. Advocated in support of legislation before the Ohio House of Representatives to protect airports and airspace from incompatible land use. Working closely with Ohio Aviation Association and Rep. Adam Holmes (R) to amend the Tall Structure Permitting bill.
